How Your Unresolved Memories Are Draining You
And 5 steps to shift it peacefully into the spirit realm
Unresolved memories are those memories that pop up and suddenly you’re emotional.
It may be a sudden sadness or a panic attack or a burst of joy (more about that in a moment).
The fact that there’s a reaction says that there is a blip in your energy field connected to that space/time. If it’s heavy it’s pretty much spiraling like a death spiral in your favorite web browser.
If the energy feels draining and drags you down, we want to do something about that.
Here’s how:
Set some time aside to sit down and be with this energy. Make yourself comfortable and relax.
Focus on whatever aspect of the memory appears to you. Maybe it always starts as a particular image, or it could be words, or maybe for you it’s just a feeling if visualization isn’t your thing. Probably it’s a short blip that you’ve grown used to cutting off as soon as you notice it because it’s uncomfortable and “what’s the point?” Right? Lemme open this phone real quick instead. Dissociation is a protective reflex.
Once you’ve got it, note how you feel about or towards it. If you’re not able to approach it with curiosity at all, I would continue to slowly come back to it over time and build up the ability to be curious in short, even a few-second, intervals. You need to be in an open state to receive new information that you don’t know yet. If you knew it all already this memory would have resolved. It would no longer hold a charge for you when you think about it.
If you are in a state to receive and be curious, direct your energy at the memory, however you’re perceiving it. Focus all of your attention to just observing it.
You can go two directions from here:
Sit with it and continue paying attention until it fades and changes and dissipates.
Ask it if it has anything it wants to show you or anything it wants to tell you. Continue asking until it no longer has anything else to share. You may then invite it to go into the light, or directly tell it that you are taking it there to cross over. You can also ask if there is anything it would like you to do for it.
If the things you witness ask you to do anything for them, do this in your imagination every time. If your memory asks you to go yell at someone, do it in your imagination. If it says “I wanna go to the mountains in Fiji” imagine taking it to the mountains in Fiji. People get tripped up all the time trying to resolve spiritual things on the inappropriate plane of existence.
Your reactive memory will be replaced by a sense of energy leaving you in peace.
Likely you have some combination of internal protection that’s been holding this memory off for a long time.
The energy you spent keeping it down and avoiding it will now be free to actually support you. Goalies get tired. I bet yours have been drawing energy in the background silently and exhausting you.
Hope this helps.
I’m now offering a Memory Resolution Package for people who don’t want to explore this alone. Do you want an experienced guide for any twists and turns along the way?
We’ll shift things in two sessions.
It’s not about forgetting, it’s about laying it to rest peacefully. It’s about letting it be free.
About happy memories: If your energy is buoyed when you think of the memory, that’s a sign from the spirit realm that there’s a well there you could draw from whenever you want. Try telling your soul
“Soul, increase this energy in my body now so I can feel it.”
Do this ^^ as many times as you want to. The well will never dry up.
The reactions you feel in your body tell us that there is a spiritual energy trying to send you a message, and that you in particular have the power to receive and if necessary, release it to go home.
One of my first memory resolutions resulted in a woman’s husband (who had passed) giving her a message that it was ok to let go. It often works both ways.
