I listened to this podcast a little bit ago and then listened to it 3x more, for various reasons. 

The guest framed dissociation in a subtle, different way than I had prior. 

Just that dissociation wasn’t a problem (not new but nice to hear)...and it also just spoke to the person’s ceiling of “too much.” It’s just information. Get too close to the edges of your window of tolerance for something and you dissociate.

I started to think about it all the time. 

How often did I dissociate? 

I was already aware of doing it sexually in both solo and partnered acts - pulling in some imagery or a memory or just drifting off somewhere, but man, once I started looking for it I found it everywhere in daily life. 

Here’s how I started to pull myself back in.
