I dunno, you say that as we get more civilized we laugh less? I wonder if the social anthropologists or neuroscientists have anything to say about laughing versus thinking.

- Gilbert Gottfried voiced Iago the parrot in Aladdin! There's also a video out there somewhere of him reading scenes from 50 Shades of Grey in his distinct voice & it's HILARIOUS!
- I do think it's interesting that the Author ya cited said "The Greeks understood that comedy (the gods' view of life) is superior to tragedy (the merely human)." & then identified four ancient greek thinkers as the folks to blame for the glorification of tragedy.
