“I want to grow into the future of humanity with people that show up fully with the people they are with.”
Sweet.
Retired at 80 and yanked into a whole new life, a current challenge is just to accept/relate to everyone I have contact with; and try for more. It’s so incredible, each person is a unique universe.
I'm in a phase of being more restrictive with the conversations I engage with! It sounds like you're in an expansion, I'm looking for refinement of where my energy goes. I am confident that I can have a conversation with anyone I meet, but I want to focus on meaningful engagements now, conversations that can lead to longer friendships that I really want.
Thanks for reading! This came up in several conversations I had since writing this. In one a person remembered me for things I didn't notice about myself and probably wouldn't have used to describe me, and then later someone mentioned the ways in which her friends did similar things for expanding her own view of herself. When I teach martial arts I often like to ask sparring pairs to describe the rounds to each other after they finish, because the perspective is so very different from either view of the exact same match. I've had both men say they felt like they were losing the same match.
Oh, OK. “It isn’t easy being green” (Kermit the Frog) Or even truly understanding each other. Might we see what sort of connection we might create that would be a win for both of us? If you like, I’m at afranka69@yahoo.com.
Celia and Jeff, friends from MT invited Hwe and me to visit them at their one-week rental in Avilia Beach. It takes 6 hours to drive there. Had a nice visit Friday evening, all day Saturday and Sunday, and Monday morning. Celia was department head when she hired me to join CS/SE faculty and Montana Tech in 2006.
Nice to chat with you, but aren’t your subscribers going to get a message every time we post? OK by me, but might they find it annoying?

OK. Gottsha. Godspeed.
That wasn’t a rejection, since I’m engaging in conversation. Meant to just compare points in the path. I’ve often been very open to all interactions.
